Planning A Healthy Happy Future

In the nucleus of a happy future lies a healthy body. Happiness is every person's desire and the intrinsic nature of happiness is that it is unique to each of us. The journey of life is dotted with distractions and we often lose sight of the definition of our happiness.

Investing our energy towards achieving our happiness is a lot easier than we imagine. It starts with a little simple introspection and relying on writing down real words of meaning. Let me share my simplistic approach towards a happy and healthier future.

First, you need to identify your values - start a journal and write down what happens each day in your life, include people, places and experiences that have significance. Decide what’s important, visit your journal and look for patterns, see what makes you happy during those times. Knowing what your values are will help you know what to include in your plan for future happiness. When you figure your values then you should prioritize it, you will know which areas are most important to you. When you are creating your plan, focus in those values that have the highest priority to you.

Second, develop a happy mindset - If you have a positive perspective on life, you will discover it easier to plan for your future happiness. Believe that you can succeed, remind yourself “I can do what I set my mind to. I can succeed and I believe in myself”.

Practice gratitude - being grateful for the good things in your life can develop a happy mindset and can make you a happier person. Make a list of things that you are thankful for and put it where you can see it often. Add things to your list and be sure to look over that list each day. Third, being mindful - this will help you develop the mindset for happiness by decreasing you feelings for stress. Focus your mind and senses completely on one thing at a time. Before you begin to do something, think through of what you are about to do. Remove as many distractions as possible so that you can focus on the task at hand. Pay attention to your senses as you are completing the activity. Focus your thoughts on what you are doing.

Develop meaningful relationships - having a support system in your life is very important, they help you cope with stress and tension and can bring happiness and joy to your life. They can also help you plan for your future happiness by encouraging you and holding you accountable. Show compassion - help others when you can or offer a compliment, small favor or even a smile can make a difference in your life and the life of others. When you are comapssionate, you can avoid conflicts and feel good knowing that you are doing what you can to be kind to others.

Setting goals - be specific on your goals, for example, being able to workout 3 times a week, also make sure it is achievable goals as you can achieve going to the gym 3 times a week from there create your action steps to achieve you goals. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to reach your future happiness. Don’t be too hard on yourself, make small baby steps on your list of goals.

Finally, Eating Healthy - this will improve your health and will help you reach your future happiness, as you will feel good about yourself. Physical Activity - This is the prescription for depression, anxiety and stress. This is one of the most effective ways to improve your mental health. It relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better and boosts your overall mood. As you add this to your list, you will reach your “happy healthy Future” state faster.
